Stories are short pieces of ephemeral content – mostly videos and pictures – that Snapchat popularized in 2013, followed by Instagram, Facebook and … uh … Skype. But despite their popularity, there are not many good ways to create and manage them on a large scale.
One option is Mish Guru, who today launched a tool to plan, create and manage Instagram stories. See this as a bit like Buffer (or Klout, do you remember Klout?) For stories.
The tool manages every part of the story creation process, starting with scripting and planning. Social media managers can create content that they want to send to their audience and program it with the tool. Crucially, it also allows them to have a long-term view of their reach, so that they can see what they publish daily, weekly or monthly.
For big brands with a lot of customer interaction, the tool also allows them to capture and republish user generated content. This also extends to polls. According to Mish GuruThis is seven times more powerful than branded content, which may seem unauthentic.
As you might expect, it also includes an analytics feature that allows users to determine the scope of their posts, allowing them to adjust their strategies accordingly.
As mentioned, stories are available on multiple social media platforms. Mish Guru offers cross-platform compatibility and allows users to automatically post their stories on Instagram and Snapchat, allowing social network managers to save a lot of time and effort.
The old Mish Guru tool was limited to Snapchat, but quickly gained popularity across all social networks, with customers such as Red Bull, McDonald's, Vodafone and Playstation. This eventually led the company to be named Snapchat's official partner.
The Instagram tool is available from today, with a pricing determined on a case by case basis. For more details on how to register, click here.
