The new Andhra Kesari Tanguturi Prakasam University will strive to improve students' general skills so they have a better chance of landing lucrative jobs once their classes are over, said Vice Chancellor Rokkam Sudarshana Rao.
Addressing reporters after meeting with PG Center staff members on Wednesday, he said that a skills development center would be created soon on campus, in collaboration with the Society. skills development of Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Rao, also Vice Chancellor of the University Vikrama Simhapuri, said that although the initial response of Nellore's students was not satisfactory, 80 students were being trained in each batch of the program skills development.

Mr. Rao, who will head the university named after the chief minister of the state of Andhra, said that it would become a model university in designing courses and courses. creating infrastructure in the next 10 years.
The university has the advantage of owning 100 acres, he said, adding that the special agent of the Ongole campus, G.Somasekara, had been consulted on the draft of infrastructure development in two phases in Pernamitta, on the outskirts of the city.
In addition to improving the existing courses, new district-specific technical courses on food technology, mining and aquaculture will soon be put in place to meet the needs of local industries.
