Kim Kelly has been selected as one of the Paul Gleason Award Laureates for example by 2018. Three people and a group from the entire Forest Fire Service have been selected to receive this national award.
The award was created by the NWCG Executive Committee to recognize Paul Gleason's contributions to the Forest Fire Service. During a career of five decades, Paul was a passionate student of fire, a fire teacher and a firefighter leader. The intention of this award is to recognize individuals or groups who share the same spirit and who exemplify the values and principles of wildfire leadership. Kim's work in support of Wildland Fire's leadership development program was a demonstration of motivation and vision.
Kim has been recognized for his strong leadership and unrelenting commitment to improving the health and safety of all Native American employees, especially those of Tribal. His efforts to provide tribal employees with coverage outside of repression are only commendable and are recognized by your peers as part of this award. Even if you know that the task is arduous, your determination to take the measures that are imposed has not gone unnoticed. In addition, you are commended for your professionalism and compassion for the individuals and families who carry out the administrative functions of health care. Your efforts are appreciated.
Congratulations, Kim, for a job well done!
